Keep the warmth in
Modern insulating frames and energy-efficient glass reduce heat loss compared with older, less efficient windows, helping rooms feel more comfortable and reducing the energy needed to heat them.

What better windows bring to your home
Whether you are replacing tired windows or updating the whole house, start with what you would most like to improve.
Modern insulating frames and energy-efficient glass reduce heat loss compared with older, less efficient windows, helping rooms feel more comfortable and reducing the energy needed to heat them.
Clear glazing, well-placed opening sections and fewer unnecessary bars can make the most of natural light and your view. A fresh frame colour can transform the room as well as the outside of the house.
If traffic or everyday street noise disturbs you, ask about acoustic glazing. We can tailor the glass and window specification to help make bedrooms and living spaces quieter.
Choose crisp white, contemporary grey or a woodgrain finish, with a frame style that suits your property. Low-maintenance PVCu keeps the regular repainting off your to-do list.
Energy savings depend on the windows being replaced, your home and how you heat it. We’ll explain the options at your visit.

The right colour and finish can lift the whole house. Match your windows with your front door and roofline, or choose a contrast that brings the building to life.

REHAU’s range includes coloured and wood-effect finishes. Some combinations can give you a different finish inside and out. Check the chosen system and compare a physical sample in daylight.
Clear glass and simple layouts keep the emphasis on daylight and the view. Decorative bars remain an option where they suit the character of the building.
Think about style, colour and everyday reach. Heritage furniture can complement Rio and sash windows; simpler handles suit a contemporary interior.
Glass chosen for your home
Tell us which rooms need attention. A bedroom beside a busy road and a sunny kitchen can benefit from different glazing choices.
Acoustic glazing can help soften traffic and other outside noise. We consider the glass, frame seals and ventilation together, so the complete window suits the room. Noise reduction needs its own specification; triple glazing alone is not a guarantee of a quieter room.
Low-emissivity glass helps reduce heat escaping through the glazing. We can talk through double and compatible triple glazing, balancing thermal performance with the style and size of your windows.
Obscure glass provides privacy while letting daylight in. For rooms affected by strong sunlight, solar-control options can help manage heat gain and glare. We’ll help you choose the right balance of light, comfort and appearance.
Quality you can feel every day
We use the REHAU TOTAL70 system for our PVCu casement and tilt-and-turn windows. The 70 mm frame combines insulating chambers with energy-efficient glazing and effective seals to help your home retain warmth. Its PVCu finish needs no routine repainting.
A clean, bevelled edge for a simple, contemporary finish.
A softer, shaped edge if you prefer a more decorative finish.
The same family supports several window layouts, including bays and bows. REHAU Rio is TOTAL70 compatible and adds a sash that sits flush with the exterior frame.
With suitable triple glazing, REHAU publishes TOTAL70 configurations achieving a whole-window U-value as low as 0.8 W/m²K. A lower U-value means less heat passing through the window. Your quotation will identify the performance of the windows selected for your home.

Useful answers
DPM uses REHAU TOTAL70 for our PVCu casement and tilt-and-turn windows. Rio is the compatible flush-fit range. ECOSlide vertical sliding sash and aluminium windows are separate systems.
You can coordinate the appearance while choosing different openings for different rooms. Start with a consistent external finish and frame layout, then consider ventilation, access, privacy and furniture room by room.
DPM’s sliding sash windows have been approved by Isle of Man Planning and Building Control for use in conservation areas. Individual projects may still require the relevant consent, but the system provides a proven route where preserving the building’s appearance matters.
